How it works
Vinylife is the first breathable PVC that reacts with microbes in active landfills to break down the discarded material, contributing to one of the most important processes in our ecosystem.
During the Vinylife production phase, enzymes are incorporated into the PVC. These enzymes allow for the anaerobic decomposition process to begin, only when the material is in an active landfill (an environment lacking oxygen). Microorganisms found in these active landfills are attracted to the enzymes in Vinylife, consuming the PVC until it has broken down completely.
